We hadn’t planned on it, but that evening we couldn’t resist the temptation of the rumored Tuesday night special at Commonwealth Lounge & Grill in Newport Beach. Recognized for their craft beer selection and culinary delights, Commonwealth was an easy choice.We headed north and about 90 minutes later, we pulled into the parking lot of Commonwealth Lounge on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach. ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Driven by formative, familial experiences on their Arkansas plantation, born in Texas, and raised on the beach in southern California, Pawn Shop Kings play American music with equal parts rock, soul, and pop.
